Angie Lewin - Plants and Places

Plants and Places presents over 70 of Angie's beautifully crafted limited edition prints. The works are grouped according to habitat together with drawings, paintings and collages from her sketchbooks of grasses, seed pods, seaweed, shells and other objects collected on her walks. View sample pages or purchase online.

Cold Comfort Farm

One of our favourite examples of illustration by Mark Hearld - part of the Penguin Essentials series.

Next year we look forward to telling you all about Mark's wonderful illustrations for Nicola Davies' A First Book Of Nature - published in May 2012 but available to pre-order now.

Faber & Faber Poetry

You may have seen coverage of these books on our blog. A number of St. Jude's artists & designers have contributed to the series.

Here's Angie's cover for the Shelley book. Another favourite would be Emily Sutton's cover for the Keats book, selected by Andrew Motion.

Although the first edition has just sold out, we'd also recommend Clara Button & The Magical Hat Day by Amy De La Haye which Emily has illustrated.

A Pack of Dogs

The perfect gift for any dog lovers, A Pack of Dogs is an anthology compiled by Lucy Smith and illustrated throughout by Christopher Brown.

And due for publication in March 2012 is Christopher Brown's An Alphabet of London, published by Merrell. We look forward to telling you more about this in the New Year.

A History of England in 100 Places

This recently published book by John Julius Norwich.

Covering places as diverse as Stonehenge and The Gherkin, the book is illustrated throughout by Ed Kluz.

We'll be working with Ed in 2012 on a follow up to his 'Painswick' fabric, plus Ed's first wallpaper.

On Nature

Finally, we have to mention On Nature, the second book published by our friends at Caught By The River.

Illustrated throughout by Jon McNaught the book features contributions from the likes of Stuart Maconie, Chris Yates, Tracey Thorn, Ceri Levy and many more.

You might also like to take a look at Caught By The River - A Collection of Words On Water.

We hope you enjoy this selection of books - and look forward to telling you all about the fabrics, wallpapers (coming soon) and exhibitions we have planned for 2012.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!

Best wishes,

Simon
